I LOVE MY MOM

Mothers Day is the one time out of the year when husbands, sons, daughters, and grandchildren alike get to show dear old mom just how much they appreciate all that she does.

Too many times we “forget to unload the dishwasher,” or “don’t remember to let the family dog out.” Though, doesn’t mom (who is right there behind you to help clean up your mistakes) deserve at least one worry-free day? Shouldn’t mom receive something she can use and be grateful for this mothers day?

One memory I won’t forget is making crafts with my mother as a kid. We used to do anything from finger painting, to dying eggs, to molding clay, or my personal favorite- making candles.

Every time I smell the sweet smell of Ever Evergreen or Annie‘s Spring Rain, I am reminded of the countless hours spent in the kitchen making candles with my mom. Candles are a wonderful gift for anyone of any age!

I know that when a candle is lit around me, I am reminded of the good times I spent with mom. I’m sure she feels the same way too. This mothers day I am going to give her the perfect gift- a candle.
